Debra Jean Goings, 59, of Russells Point, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her home following a brief illness.

She was born on Aug. 10, 1952, in Delaware, Ohio, to the late James Carl and Mary (Hunt) Wolfe.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Stratton; daughter, Chastity Stratton; and stepdaughter, Summer Goings.

On May 28, 1994 in DeGraff she married Larry R. Goings and he survives along with a daughter, Dusty Stratton of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Mason, Haley, Cassie, Tara, Ashley, Nicholas; two great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Becky Meade and Larry Goings Jr., both of DeGraff; four step-grandchildren; and a sister, Sherry (Mike) Lindsey of Bellefontaine.

Debra was a member of Russells Point First Church of God where she was the choir director.

She attended Jonathan Alder High School and loved music, especially singing and playing the guitar. She also enjoyed fishing and yard sales.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012, at the Russells Point Church of God, 432 Ohio 708, Russells Point, (937) 843-3297. Pastor Bill Riley will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.

SMITH-EICHHOLTZ FUNERAL HOME, 115 N. Main St., Lakeview, assisted the family with arrangements.
