Mayer to celebrate his 100th birthday

Walter J. Mayer will celebrate his 100th birthday with an Open House from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, at St. John’s Lutheran School, 12809 state Route 736 Marysville.
He is a lifelong resident of Union County and still resides in the home where he has lived since he was 6 weeks old. He is a retired farmer and livestock hauler. He still enjoys mowing grass and playing cards.
His family includes a son, Eugene (Ruth Ann) Mayer; a daughter, Mary Mayer; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The public is invited to attend.
