Jeff Wilson, artist and author, will present “Ohio Legends — Every Picture Tells A Story” at the Union County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 15 in meeting room A of the Marysville Public Library.
Wilson and his wife, Patti, live in Vandalia, Ohio, where they own and operate a sign company. Over the years, Jim met a lot of interesting Ohioans and heard many remarkable, weird, and funny Ohio stories. Eventually, he decided to start making these stories into illustrated books. His work has been published in newspapers over the years, and recently he began to compile all of his works over the years into volumes called “Ohio Legends.”
Since publishing “Ohio Legends,” Jeff has gotten the chance to travel all over Ohio and meet people with even more stories. This year, he is working on his third volume, enjoying time with his grandson, and traveling the state with his wife.
His first book includes Union County’s own giant, Colonel Noah Orr along with many people, places, inventions and other “Ohio Legends.”
All are welcome to come share this presentation of unusual, odd and remarkable illustrated stories about, Ohio and Union County.
